WELCOME!

I've always loved photography but didn't explore it as a profession until I ended my 17 year career delivering mail at the post office. That was a sometimes fun job, minus the bad weather and dog bites. It did offer some interesting things to photograph, like the time someone decided to mail a banana...no box, no packaging, someone just wrote the address on the peel and slapped a couple of stamps on it. Good times!

I'm also a professional videographer / editor and have been involved in quite a range of projects. Short films, documentaries, story telling to name a few. I currently have a contract with Children's Home Society of North Carolina, filming and editing their child profile videos. This kind of project allows me to combine my love of film with my degree in Public Health Education.

Photography is very much included in my list of hobbies, along with hiking, going to the gym, playing with my doggies, Parker and River and traveling with my wife, Rosemary, as much as possible. I'm on a mission to see all the National Parks in the U.S.. Current status is 33 of 63, so more than half way there, yay!
